I want to start by saying its been a strange few months for the catbox, as I have worrying about Tabby, we all know what a normally happy cat he is, but I have to share a sad something with you, its always at the time of year I see a change in old "Furface", but this year even more so, its because its 30 years to this year since his "Daddy Mog" fell asleep and Tabby knows matter how hard he tries, things seem to fall apart, as he misses him so much, normally its birthdays and even moreso at Christmas, yes its a part of life but seeing Tabby was growing up when "Daddy Mog" died he never got to do the things most youngsters of his age did like learning to drive etc..., so he feels that he lost some of the best years of his life, doing father & son things, which does upset him but he never shows it
Despite this "Furface" is always here on the DS forums as he feels that being here with you all takes away some of the pain, and I know that you will continue to be here to make sure that my furry sidekick will get himself up to his pointy ears in trouble. I would like to thank a lot of people for keeping his spirits up, far to many to mention but I'm sure you know who you are.
Chestfield gave me a good idea to purr-sue :), I am thinking of setting up a website for videos of cats & kittens, the name MEWTUBE, has been accepted as a very good name!!!!!!
My next welding project will be to recreate the London Eye, but this time using melted down Mingers bottles instead of clear glass for those pods if that doesnt work then its the floating bridge from "Bridge On The River Kwai", which could be fun using Mingers & Blossom Hill bottles, which we seem to have accumulated quite a few thousand, so its going to be a scale model.....
Now onto the Order Of The Catbox awards, which I know you have all been looking forward to

And now onto some special awards which the catbox feel are richly deseved
BROKENEWS gets an award for the most use of a baseball bat in a forum or thread
CAZZA33 gets our Scottish award for being a good friend to the catbox

CHESTFIELD gets our International award for keeping in touch with us from his travels to foreign lands
OLLYSMRS, DOLLYLOVESSHOES & MELODYBEAR receive an award each for keeping Tabby amused on the Jeremy Kyle thread, which Furface loves to take part in, and I know he comes out with some catty humour
And so all there is left to do is wish everyone a safe & peaceful time & love to you all

Now I dont know about you the first pic is Tabby when he was a partying kind of mog he is with my sister LOL! furface doesnt know about that one!

The other 2 pictures are of the house band the Stray Kitty Strollers who we tried to get to play at our garden party but the lead singer got banged up for overdoing the catnip and checked into St Moggies for a course of rehab the third pic was taken after he dried out btw he is the one in the middle love those berets & shades guys!

Tabby Gets Into Trouble

Yes you guessed it old furface has got himself into a bit of a mess this morning, as I told him to defrost the fridge, but as usual the fur brain got himself into all sorts of trouble by flooding the kitchen, so he decided to use the wet-dry vaccum cleaner (the Tabby Turbo 2000 Vaccum Cleaner) which is basically a Dyson powered by a 357 Chevrolet V8, yes I know its powerful! it not only sucked up the water but the floorboards as well!

So he is now nailing it all back down a bit too much suction Tabby :)
